The Rotary Club of Hobbs is proud to honor Elio Barrios with an honorary Paul Harris Fellowship Award for his lifetime of giving to others. Elio is widely known to wear many volunteer hats of service to the Hobbs community. Elio has lived in Hobbs since 1994 and has been married to his wife Toni, for almost seven years. Between the both of them they have a son, two daughters and five grandchildren. Elio is empolyed with the Chapel of Hope and he provides a service for any denomination, even to those without faith. He is currently a full-time chaplain for the Hobbs Police Department and is a PRN spriitual care coordinator for Kindred Hospice, formerly Gentiva.
Elio is a proud member of the Thunderbird Booster Club and our membership is proud of this outstanding accomplishment. Paul Harris is recognized as the founder of Rotary in 1905. This organization has grown with its long standing value of "others before self". Elio fits this expression in every way. Congratulations Elio and THANK YOU for your service to Hobbs, NM!!!
