The New Mexico Junior College men's golf team finished second at the NJCAA District 2 Championship on Tuesday at the Diamondback Golf Course in Abilene, Texas. The Thunderbirds finished with an 841 while Midland College won the tournament with an 834. McLennan Community College was third with an 843 while Odessa College (849) and Ranger College (855) rounded out the top five.
Andrew Ni was NMJC's top golfer, finishing with a 204 to take second place. Midland College's Callum Bruce (198) was first.
Julius Kreutzer shot a 210 to tie for seventh while Hobbs graduate Tyler Cox shot a 211 to tie for ninth. Liam Duncan's 218 tied for 22nd while Zhane Chan turned in a 231 to tie for 38th.
Harvey Hill carded a 213 to tie for 13th as an individual
