NMJC’s McLeod Brothers make it back to Short Round Vernon College Rodeo

       Vernon College Rodeo was the second stop for the Southwest Region College Rodeos' of five for the Fall 2017 season. NMJC brothers Tee and Tyce McLeod were the only two to make it back to the short round this past Saturday evening. Tee made it back in steer wrestling and Tyce in tie down calf roping.

 

       Tee placed eight in the long go round in steer wrestling with the time of 10.7 sec. ,  third in the short go round with the time of 11.2 sec. , in which allowed him to finish third in the average with the accumulative time  of 21.9 sec. on two steers.

 

      Tyce placed seventh in the long go round in tie down roping with the time of 10.5 sec., but had a no time during the short go taking him out of the average.

 

      The NMJC Women's and Men's Team are off this coming weekend, so back to the practice pens to prepare for the Frank Phillips Rodeo to be held in Perryton, TX, October 12-14.
