The New Mexico Junior College women's basketball team continued its scalding start Wednesday night, blowing out Howard College 79-49 to push to an 11-0 record on the year. Like usual, the Lady Thunderbirds rode a big first-half lead en route to the one-sided victory, as they outscored Howard 21-8 in the first quarter and 24-13 in the second. The second half went better for Howard, but NMJC was still able to continue its other stretch of never allowing a 60-point game from an opponent this season. Ni'Asia McIntosh led the way for the Lady T-Birds with 21 points. Alexes Bryant and Ashley Reid followed with 15-point efforts, and Jurnee President posted seven points.
