NMJC Baseball Plays Western Texas Scrimmage

The NMJC Baseball team played their first scrimmage of the season on Tuesday, September 7th.

Here are some scrimmage statistics.

Offense scored 26 runs in the 14 inning scrimmage.  Collected 30 hits and walked 14 times.

Justin Martinez – 2-4, 1 2B

Luis Gonzalez -  2-3, 2 RBI's 

Thomas Schreck – 2-4, HR, 1 RBI

Luis Matos – 2-2, HR, 2 RBI's, 1 BB

Paul Coppinger -  1 ip, 2 K's, 0 BB – O R

Gabriel Torres – 1 ip, 2 K's, 0BB – 0 R

Andrew Ender – 1ip, 2 K's, 1BB – 0 R

The pitching staff struck out 14 and walked 6. 

Their next scrimmage will be September 10th and 11th at the Albuquerque Sports Complex in Albuquerque NM.
