Duncan Earns Thunderbird Male Athlete of the Month for September!!
Liam Duncan, sophomore for the New Mexico Junior College golf team has earned the Thunderbird Athlete of the Month for the month of September!!
Duncan represents NMJC and the country of Scotland as he is a resident of Kirkcaldy, Fife. Currently ranked nationally as the 16th best player in the NJCAA with a scoring average of 69.83, Duncan opened the 2019 – 20 season by blistering Walking Stick Country Club in Pueblo, CO finishing 2nd in the field of 72. NMJC and one other junior college were the only 2-year schools represented in the field. All other competitors were NCAA institutions.
Liam is the son of Ian and Brenda Duncan of Scotland and currently post a 3.8 GPA. Congratulations to Liam and his efforts in a great start to the 2019-20 season!!!
