T-Birds Finish Seventh At National Preview

The T-Birds finished seventh at the NJCAA D1 National Preview held in Odessa, TX over the weekend.

The team shot a 297-292-295-884 on the par 72 earning them the seventh place spot. Freshman Timothy Chan from Hong Kong finished Top 20 shooting 75-70-75-220.  

Marcelo Garza from Odessa College finished first in the preview shooting a 69-74-67-210. 

Midland Community College finished first place as a team shooting a 283-281-285-849, followed by Odessa College shooting a 284-285-285-854 earning them a second place spot. 

The T-Birds are done with their fall Golf season, but will kick-off again in February to start their spring 22' season by competing in the Cactus Thaw Tournament hosted by Western New Mexico in El Paso, TX.
