T-Birds Place Second in Rockwinds Invitational

The T-Birds finished up competing in the two-day Rockwinds Invitational on Tuesday in Hobbs, NM. 

Odessa College took home the first place trophy shooting 555 on the Par 72.

New Mexico Junior College finished day 1 of the tournament scoring 286 as a team and went on to shoot 280 on day 2. The T-Birds finished right behind Odessa receiving second place shooting 566. 

Following the T-Birds was McLennan CC in third place who shot 573 as a team, Odessa College B team in fourth shooting 582 and University of the Southwest in fifth place shooting 586. 

NMJC's freshman Matthis Lefévre from Hossegor, France took home the first place individual trophy. Lefévre shot 68 on day 1 and 65 on day 2 earning him first place shooting 133. He shot 11 under par for the tournament. 

The T-Birds' next tournament will be on March 7th in Willow Park, TX against Odessa College.The T-Birds will go on to compete in the Tank Logix Invitational on March 14th-16th.
