Matty Wells Makes it Back to the Short-Go at Tech!

                Texas Tech was host for the fourth NIRA/SWR Rodeo this past weekend held at the Texas Tech Equestrian Center in Wolfforth, TX. Freshmen Matty Wells was the only member of the NMJC Rodeo Team for either the women and/or men's team to make it back the short go. Matty qualified in breakaway roping in the log go by splitting seven thru tenth with the time of 2.5 sec. on her first calf, but had a no time  in the short go taking her out of the average.

                NMJC Rodeo goes back to the practice pen this week and starts preparation for the last Fall 2017 rode at Sul Ross State University in Alpine, TX. November 2-4, 2017.
