As a Freshman: Micayla had a great freshman year for NMJC. Indoor she finished 3rd in the Triple Jump (39'7 1/4") and 5th in the Long Jump (18'6 1/2"). Outdoor she finished as national runner-up in the triple jump with a jump of 38'6 3/4".
