T-Birds Compete at Texas Relays and Texas State

Texas Relays:

Latavia Coombs had a great meet finishing 4th in the "A" section of the Triple Jump. Her jump of 43'6" is not only an NJCAA leading jump, but also a new school record. She also ran the 2nd fastest time in the NJCAA so far this year in the 100M Hurdles with her time of 14.02.

Texas State:

100M dash trio of Trishawna Crawford, Britney Hew and Shian Hyde all improved on their national qualifying marks in the event. On the distance side Teresha Jacobs qualified for nationals in the 1500M with a time of 4:49.29.

Up next the T-Birds will travel to Canyon, TX for the West Texas A&M Classic and Multi on April 7th and 8th.
