Lady T-Birds Beat Western Texas College in 4

The Lady T-Birds faced Western Texas College on Saturday at the WTC Gymnasium in Snyder, TX. The team defeated Western Texas in 4.

The Lady T-Birds started the match by winning the first set 25-23. Western Texas came back in the second set defeating NMJC 18-25. The next two sets were a win for the Lady T-Birds as they won their third set 25-18 and the fourth 25-21. 

Lacie Schooley led in assists with 54 assists, 18 digs, and 4 blocks. Kristine Teivane led the team in kills with 21 kills and 4 blocks. Another athlete leading in kills was Kennedy Kelly with 18 kills and 4 blocks. Ta'Nya Gibson led the team in digs with 25 digs. 

Their next match will be Wednesday, September 29th, against Clarendon College at 6PM CST in Clarendon, TX. The Lady T-Birds next home game will be Monday, October 4th, against Frank Phillips College at 6PM MST in Hobbs, NM.
