While the final score was better than the last meeting, the outcome was still the same Monday night as the New Mexico Junior College men's basketball team lost to No.1 South Plains 104-78 in Levelland, Texas. In the preveious match betwenn the schools, NMJC lost 105-60 at home in Hobbs.
With the loss, the Thunderbirds fall to 17-9 on the season and 5-7 in WJCAC play. The T-Birds will be back on their home court Thursday when they host Clarendon College.
