T-Birds Go 2-1 at Grayson Classic in Denison, TX

The T-Birds were in Denison, TX over the weekend to compete in the Grayson Classic hosted by Grayson College. 

Their first game against Oklahoma Baptist on Thursday was a quick win, ending with a final score of 124-28. Each T-Birds put numbers on the board. Leading the team was sophomore Madina Camara with 17 points. 

On Friday the T-Birds lost to Grayson College in a close game 72-68. Sophomore Cabria Lewis put up 15 points for the T-Birds followed by sophomore Precious Cowan with 13 points. 

The ladies won their last game of the tournament against Panola College 56-48 on Saturday morning. The team had a field goal percentage of 30.9% and went 10-12 at the free throw line. Leading the team was sophomore Mariama Sow with 16 points.
