Precious Cowan Named NJCAA Region V Player of the Week Back to Back

Region V has announced the Women's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of November 28 – December 4.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Precious Cowan of New Mexico Junior College.

The 5-7 sophomore point guard from New York had 22 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals in her only game played last week. She scored 18 of her 22 points in the second half and overtime.

The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Laylah Davis of Hill College.

The 5-8 freshman wing from Saginaw, TX recorded a double-double with 22 points (18 in the second half) and 10 rebounds in Hill's 92-71 win over Kilgore College.
