NMJC men's basketball bounced back from their first loss of the season with a 101-77 victory over Lamar Community College.
The T-Birds crossed the century mark for the second time this season and led by as many as 29 points in the 24-point victory.
Sophomore guard RJ Nance finished with a game-high 21 points. Kemauri Millender struggled from the field, but he did go 11-for-13 from the free throw line to finish with 18 points. Ladji Coulibaly was the top rebounder with eight points.
Michael Mackey led NMJC off the bench with 12 points. Yanel Datilus ended the night with nine points and five rebounds.
The T-Birds shot 30-for-74 (40.5%) from the field, 12-of-32 (37.5%) from the 3-point line, and 29-of-41 (70.7%) from the free throw line. NMJC forced 17 turnovers and held the Lopes to 44.9% from the field.
The No. 23 T-Birds move to 10-1 and will face Ranger College Saturday, Dec. 13 at 12 p.m. MST in Hobbs, NM.
